Philip Coleridge Smith is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon and an international expert in the treatment of varicose veins. 

Philip graduated in Medicine from Oxford University and St Thomas' Hospital London Medical Schools. He went on to create the Vascular Laboratory at The Middlesex Hospital in London and worked with the research team that published many of the key venous disease research outputs which underpin today's treatment options. Philip's accomplishments include identifying mechanisms of venous ulcer formation, introducing duplex ultrasound imaging in the investigation of venous disease and pioneering the introduction of foam sclerotherapy in the UK.

Joanna Manson MBBS PhD FRCS

Jo is a new addition to the clinical team.  She works full time as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular surgeon in  Gloucestershire and works one day a week at the Amersham clinic.

She has expertise in all varicose vein treatments but has also now been trained and mentored by Philip to perform foam sclerotherapy with his precise methodology.

Jo is passionate about empowering her patients and delivering high quality care. She is kind, considered and holistic and will facilitate a friendly consultation and help you to determine your best treatment options.

Jo is married and has young children. She enjoys outdoor activities including cycling, wild swimming and paddle boarding and climbing mountains!

Kate England RN

Clinical Specialist Nurse Practitioner

Kate is the lead nurse at the British Vein Institute.  She is  highly experienced and has worked in the industry for  over 30 years.  Kate's is the friendly face that will assist during your treatment and will always be on hand to answer any queries you may have. Kate is also an expert in reticular vein and thread vein treatment and can perform sclerotherapy sessions once the bigger veins have been successfully closed.

Kate can also provide an initial assessment of your veins and can give advice and advise if a formal medical assessment is needed.

Aga Kieloch RN

Clinical Nurse Practitioner and Practice Manager

Aga is a registered nurse who assists with vein treatments but also specialises in cosmetic procedures.  She offers clients anti-wrinkle treatments, fillers and Profhilo and is an expert practitioner in Sclerotherapy, Microneedling, IPL, Laser Hair Removal and Fractional CO2 laser.

Aga is passionate about all aspects of skincare and the holistic treatment of patients.
